Astragalus varius S.F. Gmel.

Flora Europaea xeric, psammophile steppe species continental Eurasian perennial, H Festucion vaginatae, rare in Festucion valesiacae R16, R 64 habitats, rare in R34       A species present only in Dobrudja and southern most Moldavia in Romania. Though it is well known also from Pannonia, this species is not present in the western part of our country.
